Manufacturers that produce both PTFE rods and Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) rods do not always need two separate machines. \u201cTeflon rod\u201d is a common market term for PTFE rod. PTFE offers excellent chemical resistance, low friction, electrical insulation, and stable performance in demanding environments. UHMWPE provides high wear resistance, impact strength, low friction, and self-lubricating performance. By using one flexible rod machine, manufacturers can produce different engineering plastic rods without purchasing two complete main machines.<\/p>\n

One Rod Machine for Two Materials<\/h2>\n

The main machine does not need replacement when switching between \u041f\u0422\u0424\u042d<\/a> and UHMWPE. The operator changes the mold and uses the corresponding process settings. UHMWPE uses different process settings from PTFE. The operator adjusts the mold, pressure, pushing speed, cooling conditions, and release process according to the material and rod size.
